Cartoon Production Information:

In 1941, after working at Warner Bros. and Disney, Frank Tashlin moved to Screen Gems, Columbia Pictures' cartoon subsidiary, as head of the story department and production supervisor. This was his first cartoon at the new studio.

In this cartoon, Tashlin established the repetitive, almost hypnotic, plan-fail-try again narrative pattern which would sustain many later cartoons, notably Chuck Jones' "Coyote vs. Road Runner" series for Warner Bros.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
