Cartoon Production Information:

A scene in which Jerry pretends to be an Indian has been removed from the cartoon opening in most modern releases. Two separate shots of Tom smoking (a cigar and a cigarette) are similarly excised.

Excerpts from this cartoon were reused in "Smitten Kitten" (1952).

Tom and Toots both speak in this cartoon.

Tom actually gets hammered on the head by Toots (the hammer is labeled "Wolf Pacifier").
