This was one of a number of DePatie-Freleng/Warner Bros. cartoons in the musical genre, with the music scored by Walter Greene. The musicals included Swing Ding Amigo, Feather Finger, Sugar and Spies, A Taste of Catnip, A Squeak In The Deep, and Daffy's Diner.

This was one of a number Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons to appear musical. The musicals included Hip Hip-Hurry!, Rushing Roulette, Sugar and Spies, and Hook, Line and Stinker.
