Cartoon Production Information:

First appearance of Smedley the Dog.

First of four Lantz cartoons to be directed by Tex Avery, who had previously worked at the studio in the early 1930s.

Retitled "Some Like It Not" by Castle Films for home distribution.

Daws Butler provides the voice of the dog, with the voice that would later become famous for Huckleberry Hound.
Some sources show a later release date of December 20, 1954.
