Cartoon Production Information:

Created for the US Navy in World War II. The Mr. Hook character was created by Hank Ketcham while at Walter Lantz Studios, where the first- and only color- Mr. Hook cartoon was produced.

This cartoon was meant as a reminder to the sailors that investing in the USA meant a healthy nest egg when the war ended. This is also the first cartoon directed by Robert McKimson.
