Cartoon Production Information:

This was the first Dr. Seuss special to be produced by DePatie-Freleng. The production originally began at Chuck Jones' MGM Animation studio, but was moved to DePatie-Freleng later.

In Dr. Seuss's original 61-page book, the girl's name, Sally, is mentioned. However, the boy is unnamed.
