Cartoon Production Information:

Jackson Beck is heard as the voice of Young Bluto. This is Beck's first appearance as Bluto; he would return to voice him in the mid-1940s and continue to do so for the remainder of the Famous Studios Popeye series and the King Features Syndicate TV Popeye series of the 1960s.

The original black and white cartoon has been colorized.

Classic cartoon. Great comeback win (single-handedly) by a young Popeye over a team headed by Bluto (minus his facial hair). The clincher:Baby Swee'Pea eats his spinach and boots Popeye like an MLS Soccer goalkeeper (before there was a Major League Soccer)....  (read more)

Great Popeye cartoon that shows Popeye and Bluto playing football as kids. No, Bluto does not have his beard and mustache in this one. This film has a priceless ending where Fleischer's usually mute Swee'Pea sings the Popeye song at the end! ...  (read more)
