Animated promotional film for the live-action Universal 1947 feature "The Egg and I," starring Claudette Colbert and Fred MacMurray with Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride as Ma and Pa Kettle. The Kettles (and their subsequent series of Universal comedies) inspired Walter Lantz Productions' "Maw and Paw" series.
