Cartoon Production Information:

Ran 26 episodes from October 4, 1971 to March 27, 1972.

Based on a manga by Shotaro Ishinomori.

Based on the manga was originally titled "Okashina Okashina anoko" ("That Funny, Funny Little Girl" or "That Strange, Strange Girl.").

While this normally falls into the "magical girl" genre, this series stood out because it relied more on comedy than serious stories.

Ecchan was a little girl who was a descended directly from ninjas. As a result, she knows many ninjlike moves, which can be used to help other people. She befriended a high-school girl named Miko and, because Ecchan is homeless, eventually moved in with her.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
