Cartoon Production Information:

The series was originally scheduled to premiere in 2002 on Fox Kids. This was one of thirteen scripts written for the 2002 show, but never produced. Fox sold their children's programming division during pre-production for the series. Fox tried to sell the series to many networks but none of them would pick it up. In 2004, a four-minute pilot was made but still no network would buy it.

The entire cast of the original series were to reprise their roles except for Sarah Michelle Gellar. She refused to participate because she felt the original series ended the story effectively.
