Cartoon Summary:


Tom, trying to lure a flying bird, makes a landing strip from Christmas lights to signal in his prey. But an airliner swoops down instead, carrying Tom into the sky.

This has got to be one of the worst Tom & Jerry shorts. Bad animation & weird story. Gene's T&J shorts are much better than Chuck's though!

The good thing about the Gene Deitch Tom & Jerry series is that they tug at my heartstrings. The bad thing is that they tug at my heartstrings-- a lot of times disturbingly so. This episode has a little bit of good and bad.
