David and Lisa's granddaughter Susan is coming for a visit. During her stay, she meets up with a little cat. The cat belongs to a witch who lives in the forest. The cat falls into the gnomes' animal trap, then David lets it go. When the cat gets home, he tells the witch about his adventures. It inspires her to write a version of "Little Red Riding Hood".
