The Green Caper 6 out of 5 stars

Not One of the More Intriguing Chan Clan Mysteries

Reviewed by: richardjf, January 17, 2004

When the statue of the Winged Venus is taken and replaced with a copy when the Chans are visiting the ancient land.
We get the song "Undercover Man" played at the beginning. "Undercover Man" is heard in other cartoons.
Once again, Jodie Foster is heard as the tomboyish daughter Anne Chan.
Usual plot device involves Henry and Stanley chasing a vehicle, the four middle kids running from a character in a costume and the four youngest kids keeping an eye on another character.
Usually the youngest kids would be the one with the biggest clue, then Pop would show up and solve the mystery.
The solution is pretty amusing. You just got to love the old "high note breaking glass" bit, whether on Bugs Bunny with that opera singer or Mr. Peabody's rendition in one of his episodes.
It happens here too and wow, is it a looloo!
