Strike Up The Sand 6 out of 5 stars

Sadira's first episode, and possibly the best. Sadira becomes the classic 'Villain turned friend'later on, although I have trouble really thinking of her as a villain. Misguided youth with a major crush is more like it. Personally, I like Sadira a lot... she is a fun character who discovers that power, coming too quickly before you understand it, is a very dangerous thing.

Strike Up The Sand 6 out of 5 stars

While shopping in the marketplace for a new suit for Aladdin, the gang meet a fellow street rat who happens to be a girl. Aladdin saves the young girl from Rasoul's sword, in turn, the girl, who we later find out is named Sadira, falls in love with Aladdin. When normal things don't work, Sadira resorts to sand magic which happens hwen she stumbles literally onto the Witches of the Sand. She summons a sand beast which does more harm than good. After the sand beast is defeated, Sadira learns that it's better to have Aladdin as a friend then nothing at all, but she still has a crush on him and discovers a new spell to try next time. I think this episode really teaches about what a homeless teen has to go through to survive and how much they need friendship.
