This is my favorite of the "jungle native" episodes, with a cracking good escape scene, very Indiana Jones (aided significantly by JQ composer Hoyt Curtin's swingin' big-band cues).

This is one of the series' best episodes, containing many memorable jungle scenes, highlighted by a scary/funny rescue of Dr. Quest and his old friend. The artwork is particularly strong in this ep.- and that wonderful 'natives paddling' from the opening theme originated here. Great suspense, great gags.
