Scrappy's Party

The actual plot of this "Scrappy"Movie cartoon is:"Scrappy" and his little brother are celebrating "Scrappy's"Birthday. They contact all of the famous film performers:Laurel & Hardy,Joe E.Brown,The Marx Brothers,Gretta Garbo,Clark Gable,Jimmy Durante, etc. They also contact Babe Ruth and world leaders like Mahatma Gandi and FDR to attended. The cartoon focuses more on the personality traits of the famous persons from the l930's than on "Scrappy"and his brother.Hence the two kids have little or nothing do but admire L&H,Joe E.Brown,The Marxes,Mr.Ruth,Mr.Gandi,Dr.Einstine,Etc.But Still? It's an interesting tribute to Hollywood's past and to the famous persons.Who were trying to help the world during a difficult depression and a sad prelude to WWII.Nostalgiakid.
