I am 65 year old woman artist, recovering from an illness and I adore 'Miss BG'. She reminds me of myself when I was 8 years old. My best friends were boys, I had a tree house and was active in sports. I tended to get in trouble very much like BG.
The drawings are wonderful, love the color and the story lines are interesting, truthful and uplifting.
The characters have been filled out nicely to include specific details of their likes, talents and intelligence. The families are realistic, from BG's happy mom and dad to Gad being raised by Grandma and his father. We all had the 'rich, pretty girl' who had everything (mine had a pony) and was a thorn in our side. Little bother 'George' is a joy as is Aunt Alice. It is a 'nice touch' having Robbie walk the kids to and from school at a comfortable distance.
I wish I could live in that neighborhood, almost everything is withing walking distance. The townhouses are charming, Gad's father's store is a delight, school and the teachers are as they were when I was young.
I watch BG almost every day, sometimes twice on the Qubo channel.
I would love some new episodes, but I don't mind watching the same ones over and over, they are wonderful.
