The Gray Ghost

In what is, by far, one of the most underrated episodes of one of the best animated shows of all time, Batman comes face to face with his own inspiration. Though the plot is a bit formulaic (The Flash TV show used about the same plot, with about the same character...) the character of Simon Trent is brillaintly played by Adam West, whose own connection with the Batman mythos makes this part all the more poignant. One can't help but think of the parallels to West's own life in the character of Simon Trent.

All in all, a brilliant piece of work.
