Hola from Peru!
Hola Amigos!I was happily surprised when this film first came out back to early 2001 here in Peru. It was very nice that Disney focused on the Inca's Lost world of course there were some mistakes like mixing different patterns of different cultures and history lines but it was very funny any way.
"Cuzco" in quechua (the ancient language of the incas) means "Navel of the World" something I consider quite appropiate for our little friend.
"Pacha" means soil, ground or land. This character was certainly down to the ground!
The evil lady remains me too much of Cruela Devil and Malefica from "Sleeping Beauty".
I like my country to be portrayed nicelly and funny if after watching this movie you ever plan to come down here to Peru and visit the actual Macchu Picchu citadel and our large Pre Inca and Inca History I'll feel very glad to help you with your visit since I work for the Tourist Information Bureau here in Lima and I like to have friends from all over the world in order to improve the image of my country and my peop`le.
Best Regards

This is the FUNNIEST cartoon. As well it doesn't have the annoying singing found in most Disney cartoons (which they do appear to be shining away from, happy times). As well the characters are hilarious. The best for pure hilariousness. "Um, I've been turned into a cow. Can I go home?"
