The best cartoon of the 1960s, methinks.
If this rating had a six, I'd use it now. Absolutley fantastic. The music, the quips (Bugs's "The way I'm working this thing you'd think I knew something about it" is perfect), the music score (Lava) is faultless, the animation and backgrounds, though simple at times (think of the switching on lights and 'letting him have it' scene) are great. I can't think of anything wrong with it...it doesn't have Daffy duck in, perhaps? No. Even the ending (sometimes a stumbling block in Freleng's work) is fantastic. Kudos to the person who was the narrator too.

This one I will always remember
I was just thinking about this cartoon today. Some cartoons just get forever etched into our memories. I was born in 1963 when this cartoon was produced, so ironic. This one is at the top of my list so I can't wait to see it again, its been a long time since I saw Bugs spanking Baby Face with guns, grenades and knives falling out of Half-Nelson. Great stuff...
