Do The Rat Thing

By
"Do the Rat Thing" When Prince Wazoo comes to seek Princess Jasmine, Aladdin becomes jealous and tells Jasmine, "You don't know anything about living on the other side." Angered by Aladdin's words, but determined all the same to understand what Aladdin's life was like before he met her, Jasmine decides to spend the entire day as street rat. Iago goes along for support and ends up saying something that he regrets. Literally. While Jasmine is stealing fruit from Ferouge, Iago comments that, "If you're a street rat, then I'm a frilled lizard." Later Jasmine steals a mirror, that grants their wishes-sort of. Jasmine turns into a real rat and Iago turns into a lizard. They go through the streets of Agrabah hungry and trying to survive. While trying to get food from a local house, Jasmine discovers that there are indeed poor people in Agrabah in need of help. She delivers a melon to them before heading back to the palace. Once there, Genie turns them both back and Jasmine tells her father about the poor people. Finally, Aladdin tells Prince Wazoo that Jasmine is more his type than Wazoo's. I think that this episode is really good. It's funny and it teaches about that we should be more aware of the people who need help financially as well as emotionally. It also teaches to lend a hand whenever we can.
