Kind of like what Nostalgia would taste like.

Poochie was one of those one-off productions that, while it didn't have the high-quality animation of some OVA cartoons, was still diverting and entertaining enough to allow for multiple viewings. As an indiscriminate child, I put it on the shelf next to The Littles and Rose Petal Place, though not quite as high on the tier as My Little Pony, and not quite so low as Popples.

It's pure, nostalgic fluff, with no real obligation for fandom (though I would have liked to see more of Poochie's adventures) but entertaining enough to watch through and see if a little pink and white dog really *can* save a kid from Egyptian cultists and successfully run a newspaper at the same time.

Poochies was absolutely the WORST cartoon ever devised by man! It was lower than the worst Hanny-Barbara show and that is about as low as it gets! I couldn't even finish and entire episode of Poochie before I lost my lunch, went into convulsions and my manhood crawled up in my belly for days!

Whoever came up with this show should have been deported
