Three Wishes (1988) Season 2 Episode 15- The World of David the Gnome Cartoon Episode Guide

At the start of "Three Wishes", Lisa is out in the woods when she is captured by a cat. The cat takes her to his master, a friendly woodcutter. The man and his wife revive Lisa, and she goes back home. David is so grateful he grants the woodcutter any three wishes he wants. First the man wishes for a bar of gold, but it gets him in trouble. Then he has to wish for David to pull him out of quicksand. When the woodcutter tries to sell the gold to a jeweler, he gets arrested because the jeweler thinks he stole it. The man finally has to wish himself out of jail.
