I didn't see this episode until The Gnomes was brought to The Learning Channel. Young Dr. Gnome is about how David's nephew Jonathan comes for a visit. There is also a mischievious gnome who starts spreading rumors about how Jonathan will replace David. Jonathan goes to see Lisa, and soon the other gnomes have heard. They come to David's house and tell their stories about how he helped them. Just after David returns home, he has to help a fawn who was shot. Jonathan finally decides to become a doctor himself.
