tom turkey and his harmonica humdingers

i remember this cartoon when i was a kid.............i was fascinated by the harmonicas all playing together for such a great sound. this is why i love classic animation that deals with music and not just drawings. It brings another level to the cartoon world...like watching classic tom and jerry cartons for the songs and music you heard in them...............LONG LIVE CLASSIC ANIMATION.

The Wizard of Beaumont

One of (if not the) best of the all-musical cartoons. The selection of songs as well as the way they are strung together is just excellent. I just wish that the folks that made this cartoon had gone on to make many more along the same lines.

Great animation

By
Some very fine animation elevates this 'toon. It's plot is rather simple (a group of harmonica playing folks...um, turkeys rather) and is used to showcase some tunes and allow for uninterrupted sight gags. The brilliant animation however, is the real star, with great perspective, fluid movement, and wonderful attention to detail. The tunes are fun to listen to and are well syncronized with the action. A very beautiful cartoon to watch.
