So-so Episode

By chance, Elroy and Astro are seen playing in the park by a tv exec and he decides kids shows are the wave of the future.
Cowboys and Doctor shows are passe.
George becomes a stage father, full of ideas, so the director makes George an extra as the bad guy who gets beat up by robots.
When George decides he has had enough, Elroy leaves too.
Mrs. Spacely is mad because Elroy Jetson has a show but their son doesn't, so George introduces Mr. Spacely to the director and little Spacely becomes the new tv star.
When Mr. Spacely is being beaten up by the robot and George tries to talk him out of it, Spacely delivers the classic line.
"What? And give up show business?"
Decent commentary on the changing tide of entertainment and what is and isn't liked, but not one of the Jetsons greatest.
Strong bit with George trying to get into traffic with that space car.
He finally manages it in sideways and declares "eh, it'll thin out by the time I get near home."
There is also an off-topic bit with George going to the wrong apartment and being clubbed by the guy there.
Had nothing to do with the tv show plot, but it was a good piece.
