A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court

The idea is funnier than the execution
As one of Chuck Jones' "comeback" specials for Warner Bros., this is worth watching at least once, but maybe not much after that. It's a nice idea--Bugs playing out Mark Twain's idea of going back in time to serve as a knight--but the cartoon's pacing, and Dean Elliot's typical bland score, drag down any potential humor offered by the concept. In particular, Yosemite Sam keeps bouncing on an overly long sword into the river until you just want to push him into the drink yourself!
