A nice little attempt to emulate Thurber's style. One gets the notion that McKimson was pining for an Oscar win or just a nomination with this cartoon. Too bad that didn't happen.

This is an odd one and no mistake

I am very confused by this one. Either it is deliberately set out in the style of a child (including the titles which don't quite look like the ones used 1965-7), or the artists were lazy/suffered cutbacks that day. There is, to my recollection, one funny gag and that is of a disintegrating cat. The story is alright though. Not too bad to watch, if you are only 6 years old. Adults run away now.
