The Brave Engineer (1950) Theatrical Cartoon

OK in parts

I saw this cartoon on YouTube, and whilst I'm not completely familiar with the legend of Casey Jones, I still enjoyed this cartoon. It was fun, light-hearted and bouncy, as all Disney cartoons should be, but I must say that it was very brave of Disney to make a cartoon without any of their star characters. That's probably why, for me, The Brave Engineer comes across as slightly corny compared to the Goofy shorts around during the '50s. But still, that doesn't stop it from being enjoying, so I give it 10/10 for style, but I subtract 5 for the cheesy soundtrack.
