Disney's view on Organized Labor

By
This is one of the few ALICE COMEDIES with an interesting plot. Julius the Cat
is the forman on Alice's Egg Farm Factory.
Just as Alice gets an order for 5000 eggs, a rooster comes along the railroad tracks sporitng a beard and a Russian Revolutionary Arm cap, while carrying a carpet bag labeled, "Little Red Hensky."
He hides his "costume" under the tracks and invades Alice's farm, influencing the hens to demand shorter hours and smaller eggs. Next thing, the hens are on strike, marching along carry pickets signs.

Little Red Hensky starts fighting with the
resident rooster, and Alice capitalizes on this to fill the order. She proposes to have both roosters settle their difference in the ring. She stages a cock fight, and all the hens have to pay an egg for admission. This little management trick results in the order eing filled, but as Alice and Julius drive away, the pick-up truck dumps the
load of eggs.

One of the rare moments that reveals Disney's political views.
