As a seventh grade Social Studies teacher I found "By Word of Mouse" to be both entertaining and educational. If I can find a copy I will definately be using this in my class!

Easily the best of Freleng's "economics lesson" trilogy--generally an artistic low point for him.
It's mainly a cute little UPA-inspired effort, with the mice carrying the main plot. Also a rare instance of Freleng using another director's animator: Ben Washam (from Jones' unit) animated the very opening bit of dialogue--the elderly mouse asking, "Tell us about your trip to America, Hans?"

Freleng did a good job as usual, but I really hate that economics lecture slowing it down.
