If you think the Freleng Sylvester, as portrayed in this cartoon, is simply a bad-guy, you're just not paying attention. The REAL villain is this short would have to be either Butch Sr.--who teaches his baby son how to kill cats--or that fool stork, who had the audacity to show up in a Friz Freleng cartoon stone sober!
I always applaud when Sylvester tries to get the pup to run out into traffic by throwing the ball into the street.
