My second favorite in the Deitch series, second only to Switchin' Kitten. Partly because I've played in an orchestra and am a big fan of "Carmen" myself.
Good job with making me laugh more than cry! Even the conductor is funny to watch, a lot easier to find entertaining than the Psychopathic Master. It's a hoot when he charges Tom like a bull to the tune of "Danse Boheme".
As I said earlier, I think the best thing this series has going for it is its background music. they did a brilliant job in their rendition of "Carmen".
I think my favorite part, though, is not the bullfight, but the scene when Jerry crawls under the conductor's shirt and tickles him, causing a perfect segue from "The Toreador Song" to a swanky dance tune.
