Dangerous Flirting

Poor T just wants his lunch and a hawk steals it. And rather than just going elsewhere to eat, he does an extreme thing and dresses up like a female bird. (Dress, lipstick, eye shadow and all. (He even shakes his butt at the bird.)

On a side note, if I were trying to seduce a hottie, I would have worn a nicer dress and I would have shaken my butt better.

At first Jerry tries to expose T. But then J changes his move and tries to encourage the hawk to persue T. Poor T has a chance here and there to escape, but he wants his lunch that much. Eventually the hawk offers T a ring. T accepts, but his escape is foiled. J ties a rope around T's foot and the hawk manages to stop his soon to be bride from running away.

Though if he were a real hottie, no rope would have been required where I'm concerned. (Especially if he loved romance films.) And if he could handle a woman who could argue a bit, I wouldn't have even run from the kisses.

A neat early example of how the Avery influence was creeping into HB's Tom & Jerrys: though I wouldn't give Avery full credit for the hawk character......he's pretty much the "anonymous"-type MGM cartoon animal character (likeable, though).

Again, I voted this one a perfect 10. Tom running around in drag--and that ridiculous eagle falling for it--was unbelievably funny. And the finale is a hoot, too.
