Can A Dog Get Some Sleep?

By
This is another instance where Jerry gets to be devious at the expense of Tom. From the beginning, a solid theme is set in place; if Spike's nap is interrupted once more by any kind of noise, Tom will skinned alive! As usual, the animation is just great and the SFX are right on the money. My favorite scene has to be when Spike chases Tom and beats him up offscreen. The next thing you see is Tom in wrapped up in bandages and leaning on a crutch as he rocks Spike to sleep in a cradle. There are many other gags that Jerry pulls off, and the unique aspect of them with the storyline makes the cartoon such a funny experience.
