Well, frankly, I don't ever remember seeing the original Mammy-Two-Shoes version, but with that cute buxom white gal, it's still a RIP-ROARING RIOT.
The real beauty of this cartoon is that Jerry's got it tough throughout the WHOLE PICTURE!!

I think american peple is racist because in later prints of this cartoon, the MGM ( or other ? ) replaced Mammy with a young white lady. Why ? Because Mammy is BLACK.

The same racism was also visible recently in New Orleans after the hurricane .....

Great!

When Mammy's away, the cats are at play...This is one of the funniest T&J shorts. Inventive use of jazz music. The Mammy character has never been funnier.
