In the first episode of The Gnomes, David introduces us to what daily life is like for gnomes. He also tells about his career as a doctor. David tells how he saved a goat that had swallowed a wire and about a badger that had had an accident.

the story of david (obviously), a gnome who had a friendly fox, was able to make friends with some of man-kind (others wanted to hurt him) he had a mrs. clausish wife and a few (i'm not sure on this point...) kids, or nephews...that always got into trouble...oh yeah, and every episode ended with him blowing glass. i loved this show as a kid.
