You can add my review to the list of accolades here. Some snoots say Avery's talent was "too good" to spend on a propagandistic wartime film; I say he did it with the best of them--Tashlin, Freleng & McCabe, in my book.

This cartoon has to be one of the funniest takes on Adolf Hitler. Especially the fact that Adolf Wolf had sent the first two pigs a proclomation that he would not harm them or their country in any way. (Yeah, RIGHT!) Hitler promised the same thing to neighboring countries, and he broke his promise. The skunk. Tex Avery did a parody on the pigs in the Walt Disney cartoon of the three pigs, even going as far as using the same voice-over actor for the third pig.
