The Cat That Hated People

A classic. I can still see the cat dodging the legs and feet of pedestrians on the sidewalk and the wheels of the cars in the street. Life on earth was hell for the cat and he had to take a space ship to try to get away. We all knew the it wouldn't work, but the show was great. There were five of us packed in the 1946 Oldsmobile. My father drove and my mother was in the front seat with my newborn brother. I was in the back with my sister. I saw this approximately fifty years ago and I remember it like it was yeaterday. The Sunrise Drive-In is still in operation in Fort Lauderdale and is best known as the swap shop where a Palm Beach County resident, Pauline Zile, claimed her child was abducted. In fact the child had been killed by the father/boy-friend and the body hidden in a shallow grave.
