Hugh Harman stops apeing Disney long enough to ape Tex Avery in this spoof of the Lone Ranger. Three Mexican stereotypes shoot up a town and rob the stage. The Lonesome Stranger and "Sa-liiiiver" (repeated so often that Harman must have thought it was hilarious) must stop them. Harman tries, but sabotages himself with bad timeing, insulting jokes and driving other gags into the ground. Mel Blanc's vocal tracks are the best part.
