The Yams Did It!
This cartoon is another successful co-operative from Porky and Daffy. Also making an appearance is Tom Turk, the turkey. The combination of great animation, varied sound effects, and a hilarious script make this one of the funniest Thanksgiving themed cartoons. One of Daffy's best lines came while trying to hide Turk from Porky. After shoving Turk under a snow covered rock, Daffy rejects the idea with, "Nope, even more obviouser." A great play on words. There's also some terrific gags like Daffy tossing a bucket of water over a stream to form an ice bridge. Overall, the visuals and SFX greatly enhance an already wonderful script.

One of Chuck Jones' most underrated cartoons.
This is loaded with great gags and a couple of sick bits (I get a HUGE kick out of Daffy's body jackknifing when the tree lands on him. It is SICK, but I bust a gut every time I see it)and has one of the deeper bits of historical humor you'll see in a cartoon:
When the Turkey, hidden in a snowman that Daffy has made, realizes Daffy is about to sell him out to hunter Porky, he mutters one word, as a question: "Quisling?"
Quisling was the Nazi-sponsored puppet-head of Norway during WWII. Quisling was synonymous with "traitor."
