Bubbles

By
Max's daughter, Ruth is blowing bubbles on a bubble pipe. One of the bubbles floats out of the window and drifts into Max's studio down-stairs. The clown sees it and wants it. The bubble bursts, and he cires. Max tries to soothe the clown by getting a bubble pipe and some suds. Then he bets the clown a "wallop" on the nose that he can blow the biggest bubble. Max wins, and the the clown gets rapped on the nose by Max's pen. The clown then blows himself into a bubble and drifts out of the house and lands inside the radiator of a parked car. Max runs up to the car looking into the radiator, banging and slapping the car to force the clown out. Suddenly the owner of the car comes along wondering what is going on. Max tells him there's something inside. When the man looks, he gets sprayed in the face. The man chases after Max thinking he set him up for a practical joke. The clown still in the bubble difts up and back into the house. Max runs inside captures the clown, returning him to the ink bottle, which is foaming with suds. Highly entertaining.
