Great art for horse lovers, falls short on story

By
Don't get me wrong, I love the art in Spirit, it is truly a new step up in the world of animation centered around horses. Still I felt this movie fell short in the area of storyline moving way to fast for it to really flesh out the plot. I am a true horse lover but this movie left me feeling a bit empty and wanting to know more about Spirit and the time period he lived in than was ever shown in the movie.

Dreamworks has already proved that they are just way beyond other studios with their award winning animations. I have read the synopsis of Spirit and it's quite new to me hearing that Spirit will be given a voice over. The trailer was fantastic and the animation was amazing. I bet this movie will be one of the best animations of all time!

Spirit: Stallion of Cimarron

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did see the trailer. Even if the story ends up sucking horribly, the animation and computer graphics look fantastic! I've read several other reviews from people who saw advanced screening, and they're all good things. I have total faith in Dreamworks, their past animations and movies have been wonderful.
Sounds like this one just might be the best yet.
