Excellent realization of a postmodern classic. Top-rate vocal cast (except when Mia Farrow sings); especially good is Tammy Grimes as Molly Grue. The book comes to the screen 85% intact, beautifully animated by Japan's Studio Topcraft (which was about to become the nucleus of Studio Ghibli).

What a Gem!
Now this was such an endearing animated feature film that charmed me! I'll never forget it. I know we have it somewhere in our collection! Rankin-Bass certainly outdid themselves when they created this masterpiece! Let's keep the legends alive!
