Speedy Gonzales
Not quite the cream of the Speedy crop, in my book (that honor goes to Freleng's follow-up, "Gonzales' Tamales"), but great fun nonetheless.....the unique thing about this film is that it's staged much like a bullfight.
Ted Bonnicksen (I believe) animated the bit that damfine mentions below; MY favorite bit of animation is Art Davis' rendering of Sylvester at the end, banging his head on a telephone pole in frustration. Proves he could be as formidable as ANY animator at the studio.

Speedy Gonzales
Well done all around (though I really prefer "Gonzales Tamales). High Point Of Animation: the ending, with Art Davis's rendering of Sylvester banging his head against the telephone pole.

Excellente`, Amigos!
Stop-frame the animation of Speedy just before he confronts Sylvester. To a lay-person it is simply well done, but to a student of animation it is breath-taking.
