Pirate's Gold

"Pirate's Gold" isn't as funny as most other Heckle & Jeckle movies, but it ends with an outrageous gag involving the Internal Revenue Service. Unfortunately, if you're a little kid and you haven't yet encountered the wonderful world of paying taxes and being in hock to the IRS for your whole adult life this cartoon's final gag will be over your head. And if you're a tax-paying grownup, the gag at the end of this cartoon will probably seem too painful to be funny.
A decent entry for a Heckle & Jeckle cartoon festival, but not funny enough to climax the show.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give "Pirate's Gold" a 6 ... but without that final gag, this cartoon would be lucky to rate a 5.
