Mirror, Mirror

LIke the classic Star Trek episode with the evil Enterprise crew, this is the intriguing double doppleganger episode with Freddie mirroring Alan M., Josie mirroring Daphne and the funniest Shaggy mirroring Alexander.
In one scene, Alexander's voice changes, as both Shaggy and Alexander were voiced by Casey Kasem.
The Davy Jones and Jerry Reed movies with Scooby Doo would have songs in them, and it seems like a song was intended for the chase scene here, but there isn't one.
If Alexander couldn't be paired up with Shaggy and Scooby due to the voice similarities, at least Alexandra and Melody could have been with Shag and Scoob. They would have been priceless and memorable together.
I always felt the first time the Scooby gang should see the Pussycats should have been on stage, but instead how do we and they first see the girl group? Running en masse with their arms outstretched.
Seemed typical, I suppose.

My all-time favorite Scooby Doo Movie! It's so refreshing to see these kids from 2 well-known Hanna-Barbera series join forces! Especially in the scenes where Shaggy, Scooby and Alexander cower and hide together. They should have had Shag, Scoob and Alec team up to rescue the gang from the evil clutches of Injun Joe and Captain Scavenger. The animation could have been a little better, too. But, all in all, it's still great! I like ANY Scooby-Doo Movie that teams up characters from other H-B shows!"
