A bit too Wooden
An elaborate toy factory churns out a Betty Boop doll and delivers it to a hold stocked with legions of wind-up toys. Betty is, of course, made Queen by the legions of wooden soldiers, who come to her aid when a gorilla (!?) decides he wants to use her head on a doll of his own. Everybody winds up in the broken toy department. While this 'toon lacks the surreal reach of the greatest Boops, they have a lot of fun animating a variety of bizarro toys -- like a dog that chases a hydrant and a streetsweep who follows the elephant dolls. (chasing wind-up turds, I guess?). This is vintage Betty, with garter intact.
