Simply one of the greatest cartoons ever. It has a discernible plot and great action. But most of all it shows how wily and conniving Bugs Bunny could be. It also demonstrates things from Elmer's point o view. Tex Avery's genius is all over this. A great way to spend a few minutes remembering your childhood hero (Bugs, of course) and these old Warner Bros. cartoons are as funny now as they were 50 ears ago. This was a great way to spend a few minutes in reverie. Better by far that any thing on TV today!

Nostalgia Kid is right on about this one. This cartoon is truely rare in that it makes a direct reference to "Mr. Warner". It's frame is also very unique compared to other Loony Tunes/ Merrie Melodies cartoons. This frame is Elmer suddenly jumping out of cartoon mode and acting like an actor who is being abused. This is a different way to look at Elmer and Bugs and a refreshing one at that. By this cartoon the writers feel that the audience has seen a lot of the cartoon side of Bugs and Elmer, but now it's time to see them as old chums making a living in the movie industry. This openess gives us a glimpse at the characters as regular Joes like anyone else. But not to stray too much from the old "torture formula", Bugs gets the better of Elmer. But I have one question, though. Who is Damon and Runyon?

In His last "Looney Tunes"Movie cartoon:"Big Snooze".Mr.Clampet pulls out all the stops. As he does alot of zany sight gags ,fast pacing and every bizzare indignity to poor "Elmer Fudd"imaginable. Here the dilligent hunter tries to catch "Bugs Bunny"? But he nearly falls off of a cliff. After going thru this severial times. He angrily tears up his contract and walks away.Ready for a fisherman's weekend."Bugs"knows that his career can't survive with a protagonist. So he takes some sleeping pills and before you know it? He invades "Elmer's"Dream.Covering the scene with nightmare paint.Strpping Poor"Mr.Fudd"down to a ring of flowers around his privates and his derby hat.Dressing up in God Awful drag."Elmer"Chases our heroic rabitt. But pretty soon?"Elmer"is being chased by a pack of "Hollywood Wolves"and the pair fall off of another cliff. With Only "Bugs"Stopping his fall(after guzzling down some hair tonic)and "Elmer"falls back into reality and back to work.A Truly funny cartoon from beginning to end.And It's Mr.Clampet's Best! Thanks Bob! Nostalgia Kid
