A Formula That Works

This cartoon, as all the others in this series, is great to look at. The camera angles are fresh and unique even today. This story follows the pattern of all of these cartoons with a radical villain who will destroy Metropolis, or the world, or Lois Lane with some super-scientific gizmo or some enormous creature. This time it's a native american with a grudge because of the purchase of Manhattan, who, in his underwater laboratory sends electrical charges at various points of the island to create earthquakes. Superman will come to the rescue as you would expect. The detail in these cartoons is amazing and you will be awed by the techniques of light and shadow.
